About Music & Miracles Header

This is for you if…

  • You overthink before you speak, send the text, or hit “post.”
  • You stay quiet, not because you have nothing to say, but because you’re afraid of saying it “wrong.”
  • You feel like a different person in different rooms.
  • You wonder if what you have to say really matters.
  • You’ve left conversations wishing you’d said what you really meant (and replayed them ever since).
  • The sound of your own voice makes you cringe.
  • You’re confident with some people and second-guess yourself with others.
  • You’re ready to stop editing yourself before you speak.

What to Expect That Afternoon

A beautiful space to slow down

You’ll spend the afternoon at Verdant Center in Joelton, TN. Away from notifications, your to-do list, and everyone else’s noise.

No pressure to perform

You won’t be asked to sing a solo. You won’t be forced to share. You won’t need to have a breakthrough. You simply have to be willing to be curious.

Breath, sound, and movement

Not a singer? Perfect. There’s no singing or musical experience required. We use breath, sound, and movement to explore your voice, your body, and what’s happening beneath the surface.

A small, supportive group

With only 10 women, there is room for connection, reflection, and individual attention.

This Isn’t Singing Lessons

You don’t have to be a singer. You don’t even have to want to be one. This is for the woman who has a lot to say but second-guesses herself, edits her words, softens her voice, or stays quiet altogether.

This isn’t about hitting the right note. It’s about making a sound and finding out nothing bad happens. Sigh. Groan. Hum something off-key. You literally can’t get it wrong.

The more you practice using your voice without trying to get it “right,” the easier it gets to say the actual words you’ve been sitting on for years.

Your Facilitator

Allyson Rodgers, MMT, MT-BC, AVPT

Allyson is a Board-Certified Music Therapist and Vocal Psychotherapist whose work focuses on the connection between voice, identity, relationships, self-trust, and personal authority. Through vocal and other creative practices, she helps people hear themselves more clearly, express themselves more fully, and reconnect with their own power.

You’d Usually Talk Yourself Out of This. Not Today.
