About Music and Miracles, LLC
Music & Miracles was founded in 2019 by Allyson Rogers, MMT, MT-BC, to provide high-quality music therapy services to individuals, couples, families, and facilities in Tennessee. We are client-centered and value inclusivity, empowerment, and collaboration.
Music & Miracles provides services across Tennessee in a variety of settings including behavioral health hospitals, recovery programs, neurorehabilitation hospitals, community support programs (e.g. Family Wellbeing Program), and assisted living communities.
Our founder, Allyson, is also a Soundbirthing ™ Music Therapy Assisted Childbirth Specialist and is passionate about using music to enrich the lives of parents, families, and babies during pregnancy and childbirth.
What is Music Therapy?
Music therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music to accomplish individualized goals and is administered by a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC). In a music therapy session, clients and music therapists work together to address emotional, psychological, social, communication, cognitive, motor, and/or spiritual goals using a variety of musical interventions. No prior musical experience is necessary to participate in and benefit from music therapy!
